ABOUT MARK
Mark Sprinkle is a veteran, small business owner, and lifelong Republican running for Clark County Public Administrator.

Born on a U.S. Army base in Germany, Mark was raised in a military family and has called Nevada home for more than 30 years. He graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2000 with a degree in Political Science and a focus on Media and Communication Studies, beginning a lifelong interest in government and public service.
​
Mark served in the Nevada Army National Guard and U.S. Army from 2002 to 2010, including a year-long deployment to southern Iraq. During his deployment, he conducted convoy security missions and was responsible for identifying improvised explosive devices (IEDs) to prevent attacks on U.S. personnel. He worked closely with Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams to neutralize threats, helping protect both lives and critical operations in a high-risk combat environment.
Following his military service, Mark continued his commitment to public service. He worked for U.S. Senator John Ensign in both Washington, D.C. and Las Vegas, and later served during three sessions of the Nevada Legislature, including a role as a Personal Attaché in Carson City.
He also worked with the Legislative Counsel Bureau, gaining valuable insight into how government functions and how it can better serve the public.

A lifelong Republican, Mark has been actively involved in more than 50 Republican campaigns across Nevada, supporting candidates and causes that reflect his belief in accountability, limited government, and strong communities.

Like many Nevadans, Mark has built his career through hard work across multiple industries. He worked in hospitality as a valet at The Venetian and Palazzo, delivering high-level customer service in one of the busiest resort corridors in the world.
Earlier in life, he served as a lifeguard and swim instructor at the YMCA near Meadows Mall, where he taught children water safety and responded to emergencies.
Today, Mark is a small business owner specializing in resale and online marketplaces, generating over a quarter million dollars in eBay sales alone.
He has also been featured multiple times on the television show Pawn Stars, where he is known for his knowledge of valuation and negotiation.

Mark is running for Clark County Public Administrator to bring discipline, organization, and real-world experience to an office that serves families during some of the most difficult moments in their lives.
His background in military service, government operations, and business has prepared him to ensure the office operates with professionalism, efficiency, and respect for the people it serves.
Outside of work, Mark is a proud cat dad and longtime member of the Nevada community.
